Tips for Long, Lush and Healthy Eyelashes

What would you say is the most striking part of your eye? It has to be your eyelashes! Whatever colour your eyes are, long and full lashes add a beautiful attractive quality which can transform the look of the whole eye area.

One thing that is often overlooked is caring for our eyelashes. We care for our hair, so why not our eye lashes too? It’s just as important.

Here are some tips and facts about lashes which will help ensure yours stay long, lush and healthy.
 
Lash Life
 
A typical lash can last about three months before falling out and can take two months or more to completely grow back. Although some lashes may fall out over time, we pretty much have the same number of lashes throughout our life lives.
 
Treat and Condition
 
Just like you treat and condition your hair, in order to keep them lush you also need to treat and condition your lashes. Look for products that contain Pro-Vitamin B5 which protects and strengthens your eyelashes, and Vitamin E which hydrates and moisturises.

Don’t rub your eyes too often. If you experience itchy or uncomfortable eyes then it could be work speaking to your doctor or optometrist. It could just be hayfever! Either way, resist the temptation.
